I just unloaded my camera with all the pics I have taken in the past month or so...
getting some new blog posts up soon.
I came across a few unpublished drafts I had saved earlier...
this being one of them.
I figured I would post this first before my newest additions.
These pics are from the St. Jude Fest back in June.
We took Wren last year when she was only 10 weeks old.
She spent most of the time riding in her stroller and sleeping.
This year... different story.
We had a running, crazy toddler to chase after!
How much changes in a year!
With her 50/50 tickets

This week's pregnancy update...
- How far along are you? 18 weeks
- How big is the baby? The size of a sweet potato... or 5.6 inches and 6.7 ounces.
- Weight gain? Doctor's appointment on Friday, will find out then.
- Stretchmarks? Nada.
- Belly button? Still there.
- Cravings? Mexican and chocolate chip cookies with ice cream.
- Latest hormonal outburst? Last weekend. Involving painting the dining room chairs. Aye yi yi.
- Vomiting? Indulged in my Mexican craving last night and felt like barfing afterwards. Too. Many. Chips.
- Feeling prepared? As far as clothing, I just went through all of Wren's clothes she's grown out of and pulled out all of the gender neutral attire. If we have a girl, we are set. If we have a boy I think we will be okay for a while. So many of the gender neutral clothes we had for Wren have never even been worn. I think they look boyish. As soon as people found out we had a girl, the pink outfits came rolling in and we never even put her in the other stuff. Most of the newborn to 3 month neutral clothing is brand spanking new... not a single spit up or poop stain to be found!
- Names? I have a short list of girls names I like. Chris only "kind of" likes a few of them. As far as boys names go, I'm stumped.
- Sleep? Wren's been a little crazy at night lately (teething, maybe?), but that's really the only thing affecting my sleep. I pee when I get up to take care of her and back to bed I go!
- Random pregnancy side effects? Serious nesting (already?!)
- Best moment this week? Wren and I spent a whole day with a friend from high school and her 2 little ones! It was so fun and nice to see that juggling 2 young kids out in public CAN BE DONE! :)
- Work? I am fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom, so yes, I am working my butt of every day. :) Haha, it's funny because the first day I started this new gig after quitting my old job, I took a pregnancy test because I was feeling "sort of pregnant." Lo and behold- pregnant! I felt good for about a week after finding out. I felt so good I even ran a half marathon! As soon as I hit the 6 week mark (and 2 days after the half marathon, fortunately), I hit a wall... or more like the floor, I guess. I was sooooo sick. A few days I could barely get off the floor except to throw up. Poor Wren. We read a lot of books and didn't do much else during those first few weeks. I remember thinking then (and when I was sick while pregnant with Wren, too), "I am NEVER getting pregnant again." Pretty sure I thought the same thing after delivery. Haha... funny how you forget those things. :)
